Several comments have been made regarding the size of the Quindell Director share purchases this week.
It could be argued that the size of the purchases indicates the Directors have no belief in the future of the business. Some stating the share buys are a token gesture.
I would argue for the following reasons this is not the case and the share buys indicate a significant commitment by Directors in Quindell.
In the last 12 month period (Oct to Oct)
1) Directors of the business have purchased 3.13 million shares.
2) Directors have invested £832k.
3) Robert Fielding who made the last share investment of £25k has in the period invested £115k.
Directors on a regular basis top up their share pot. This to me would indicate they have total belief in the businesses future.
It is also worth noting that in the period no Director has sold any shares.
These statistics, in all probability, will be out of date by the end of next week, due to further Director investments in the business.
